Day 30

Meet Roffe, one of three tibetan spaniels living with my in-laws. They are all very cute, and so fluffy. Very different to our boxer Ebba! :)

Day 29

Another working day today, but tomorrow is finally Friday! :)

I got my hair done today, and began what will be a new hair do. For many years I had my hair long, below my shoulders. Then one day I got bored, and cut it short. Like short short. The last couple of years I've had it like that, more or less, but now I decided it was time for something a little new. It will be longer on top and in the front, while the back will still be really short. We'll see; before summer it should be long enough for what I'm looking for.

My first try with b&w too in the Project365 pictures. I find it hard to do good conversions from color to b&w. There are so many ways in PS, but none that I know about gets me exactly what I want. Well, I suppose it is just to keep trying.

Day 28

Daniel and Linus playing puzzles (do you say so; playing..?). They have been home today, as Linus has got chickenpox. He's in a good mood, although it itches of course, and it has been a hectic day for them both.

Day 27

I wanted to get Ebba and Zoey in the same picture, as they were sneaking around eachother. But as soon as I pointed the camera in their direction, they parted. This was the only descent picture, and only after some post-processing.

Normaly I only do auto white-balance on my daily pics, and no cropping. This time I played around with some bluring and different blending modes to get a little more dreamy/artistic feel to the pic.

Day 26

This is one of my network cables that I use at work to connect my PC to the rest of the world, and I have managed to lay my hands on pink ones! That is great; not only do they make me more happy than ordinary grey ones, but also are they always there when I need them. None of my fellow co-workers (mostly guys) will accidentally borrow/steal them, thanks to the color. ;)

Wish you all a happy week!

Day 25

It has been a grey day today, and hence a grey photo. At least it is daylight! We went up this small height while out walking Ebba, and got a view over the path we just came from. It doesn't look much now, but the forest is filled with oaks, and it will be so beautiful in the spring and summer. Even when the weather is bad, it is such a joy to have this area so close to where we live, and to be able to enjoy the nature.

Day 24

First, I'm sorry for not having commented on your pictures this weekend, but as my picture for Saturday shows, it has been a busy weekend here. :)

Saturday evening meant visit from friends, home-cooked Thai-food, some whisky-tasting and a lot of Singstar on the PS2. We had so much fun, and stayed up way past bed-time! I am very happy that our dog is as tired in the mornings as we are; she doesn't move until I go up and put breakfast in her bowl, may it be 6:30AM or 11:30AM.

I'll be back later with the picture for today, and comments on your pictures. Hope you all have a nice Sunday!

Day 23

We have a friend visiting tonight and the dinner was take out sushi. Yum!! I love the ones with salmon on, but think the rolls are a little too big. Prefer those rolls with seeds on the outside.. what are they called?

Finally weekend, feels so nice. Hopefully I'll have a picture with daylight tomorrow! See ya!

Day 22

An action picture today; Zelda running down the kitchen counter to try and get some cuddling and I trying to take the photo before she got too close. Of our two cats, Zelda is the one most social. We adopted her from a cat shelter nine years ago, and she has always been affectionate. The other cat, Zoey, is a much more independent cat. On occasion she can come up to sit in the lap, but otherwise she mostly keeps to her self. They are both my little babies!

We are up to a busy weekend, with company both tomorrow and on Saturday. Both nights are friends that live out of town and that we don’t see to often. It will be so much fun!

Hope you all have a happy weekend!

Day 21

Todays picture is taken with my cell phone camera, hence the quality. It shows the office building where I work. I figured, as it is Wednesday today, middle of the work-week, a work-related picture would be suitable.

What do I do there, then.. I'm an engineer, helping sales-staff and customers get answers to their questions about our products. It is a really fun and interactive job, and I've worked here since I graduated eight years ago.

Day 20

I'm very frustrated with the poor light in the evenings, and soooo long for summer! Or at least weekends, when I'm home from work.

The photo of today shows Daniel and Linus, cooking dinner. I'm a very lucky girl; most nights I get dinner without doing anything in the kitchen-area. After dinner is another story though, I'm in charge of doing the dishes! :)

Oh, and some advertisement for Daniels Project 349: !http://project349.blogspot.com

Day 19

Hard day to take photos, the creativity (and subjects!) just wasn't there. Anyway, I finaly found Zoey in her favourite spot; on the radiator in the bathroom. It is always warm and cozy, and Ebba (the dog) aren't allowed to go in there. Peace and quite and warmth! A cats heaven. :)

Day 18

Just hubby and me home for dinner tonight, the little guy was at his mothers, so we opted for home-made pizza and a beer! :) The topping is home-made tomato-sause, salami, brie cheese and then mozzarella cheese all over. Yum!

Talking about hubby; he has got into the project 365 as well. But as it has been three weeks already into the new year, and he will start with day 18, he's calling it Project 349. ;)

I've also for the first time got an award for my blog. Oh, not one but two; both Tami and Carin was kind enough to think about me. Thank you so much ladies!!!

The award comes with the task to list the 5 things I'm addicted to, so here we go:

1. Digital Scrapping
2. Cheese (any kind will do, the tastier the better)
3. My little red EHD
4. Our swedish summer (the bright days and nights.. I really long for it now)
5. Orchideés

Day 17

Thank you for your nice comments on the photo from yesterday! But please remember to include yourselves in the Project 365; you are important to your family, you should also be visible in your 2009 review. :)

Todays picture is Ebba again. We were out walking in the fields/woods cross the bridge, in daylight. It is a wonderful surrounding with lots of oaks and open fields, and we love to stroll around here.

Friday, January 16, 2009

Day 16

Todays picture is me. :) All dressed up and out walking the dog. My red nose indicates the chilly weather, we have about -5C (23F). It's not as cold as many of you have had, but cold anyway.

It might come more pictures from today, we're about to go bowling right now! :D

Edited:

We're home again! The bowling was really fun, but lets not talk about the score.. It was a new place, that opened just some month ago, and they have "disco bowling". Shortly after this picture was taken (with my SonyEricsson Z770i) the light was dimmed and the disco beat began.

Day 15

Not so exciting picture today. We have been painting the last evenings, with this rather nice grey-brown-ish color. It will be a tree-house for Linus, but indoors. He has a bunk-bed in his room, but as he's the only child here, the top bed will be turned into a play-house in the shape of a knight castle. Fancy, huh..? ;-) Anyway, it is a lot of painting to do before we can assemble it, and hence today's picture. I promise to post photos of it once it is done!

Day 14

We got home a bit early today, and managed to walk the dog before it was completely dark outside. That is so nice, cause then we can cross the bridge and do our walking over the fields, and Ebba can run more freely than when walking the streets.

This picture is taken from that bridge. I was inspired by Tamara's picture of the fog, where a semi-truck left red streaks due to the long shutter speed. Thank you!

Day 13

Our afternoon walk with Ebba. This is at half past five, and it's really dark out. For our dark furred girl to be visible, she carries a reflector vest. This season is no good for dog-owners, I long for the afternoons and evenings with sun light, that will soon come!

Monday, January 12, 2009

Day 12

This is part of my foreign doll collection. It began with my uncle who bought dolls for me from his travels, and I have since then continued myself and with the help from other family members.

From left to right are dolls from Dominican Republic, Thailand, Sri Lanka, Japan (the two wooden dolls in front), Thailand, Sweden, China, Malta, Saudi Arabia and Sri Lanka.

Sunday, January 11, 2009

Day 11

We went to visit my brother today, to celebrate his birthday. My mum and Linus tried out some games and eventually ended up building with the blocks from one of the games.

Saturday, January 10, 2009

Day 10

Our dog Ebba, on the living-room rug, waiting for a walk outside.

I just created a blog roll to the right, really quick, I will add more blogs when I have time. Please let me know if I have forgot your blog and I'll add it! :)

Friday, January 9, 2009

Day 9

"Daaaad, I wanna play....". Daniel is trying to find the web-game and Linus is waiting impatiently. This is a common scenario in the evening when we get home from work and kindergarten.
My favourite guys. :o)

Thursday, January 8, 2009

Day 8

I'm a little late today; such boring stuff as bills blocked my way to the computer. Oh well, here it is. One of my much loved orchids. This one is in bloom for the second time in about six years. I like the color so much, the other ones are white/pink/lilac but this is bright yellow.

Wednesday, January 7, 2009

Day 7

First day back to work, for most of my co-workers at least. Daniel and I have worked between the holidays, but almost everyone else had vacation. Today everything started up again, and my computer bag will symbolize that work-year 2009 has officially started! I love the flowers on it, makes it a little easier to carry than an ordinary grey one. ;)

Tuesday, January 6, 2009

Day 6

We have two cats living with us, and here is the other one; Zoey. It had already got cloudy outside when we woke up, but the light in the room where Zoey had found a spot was still good. The Canon 50/f1.8 lens helped too. That one is amazing, I really love when I get a chance to take photos with it.

Monday, January 5, 2009

Day 5

Work today, and no sunlight to take photos in. This is Zelda in her favourite spot; between me and the computer monitor. She laid all cosy curled up until I brought the camera, then she sat up and looked at me with a frown.

Day 4

We have winter now, it's about -10C/14F and a little snow. Enough snow however for some playing; both the little guy and the dog were thrilled.

Saturday, January 3, 2009

Day 3

Our little Christmas juniper outside. I thought it became so cute, and have thinking about taking the picture since it came up. Now it is done, and it is the picture of day 3.

Friday, January 2, 2009

Day 2

Taken with the camera in the cell phone, as I forgot the DSLR during our lunch-walk with the dog.

Day 1

The day after new years eve. We all relaxed in front of the tv a lot!

Welcome!!

...to my blog for the Project 365!

Project 365 is taking one photo each day for the whole 2009. There are several sites on the web encouraging and helping the ones who have decided to give the project a chance. As I'm a scrapper I will follow the ones at Digishoptalk and Scrapbook Graphics.

I'm not really sure what to do with this, but I guess I figure out along the way. Hopefully I'll have a great documentation of our 2009 sometimes in December :)
