Good Friday means off from work, and we went to the summer house to do some painting in our cottage. As the roof trusses will show even after the roof is isolated we have glazed them in a dark brown color.



The birch has got leafs, "mouse ears", and suddenly it is green everywhere.

Last day of the work-week, wonderful weather and first day of the outdoor beer-garden in the city center. We went there with some friends from work and had a great time in the sunshine.

A friend at work asked a while ago if I wanted to join in on a cupcake decorating class, and tonight was the night. We had a great time trying out different techniques and working with real cake decorating tools. It was very inspiring. These are my five cupcakes, a little over-decorated maybe but there were lots of fun stuff to try out.

The warmer weather and sunshine has made a lot of spring-flowers to bloom. We took a wonderful walk in our forest with Ebba, and I had to capture her in the middle of the yellow ocean.



Later in the afternoon we went to Linus gymnastics class. It was the last time for the semester, and all parents were invited to look at what their kids have learned for the last couple of months.

Visit by our friends Marie and Claes with their children. They used to live next door to us, but now they moved outside of town. Anyway it is always fun to meet for dinner and we had a great evening.

Together with Daniels mother we decided to visit the summer house to make sure that nothing had happened during the winter. It was a little tricky to get there as the lake has flooded the road. We had to walk through the forest to not get wet.



Everything was ok though when we finally got there. We had a nice day with some sunshine and Daniel cooked lunch for us on the grill. Soon the days will be warmer and we can spend more time here.

This might look strange, but we had some candles left from Linus' cake, and I couldn't resist the chance to burn them. Daniel placed them in a left over lime slice, and even though they just provided light for a short time it was a little cosy. =)

This fall when our cat Zoey died, I planted some flower bulbs in the garden. The flowers should all grow up to be white flower to remind us of the almost white Zoey. Now the plants are actually starting to show, and I can't wait to see what they will look like.

First I just want to say sorry for not visiting and commenting on your blogs. I'm so happy for your sweet words, but I'm struggling to keep up the pace right now with my own photos, so there is little time for blog-hopping.

Here is Daniel and his friend from work, John. They are working on a support case, and decided to do it from home rather than going in to work at the late hour. They began at 8PM and finished right before midnight.

Celebrations for three days. =) Today Linus had a birthday party for his friends. We arranged it together with his mother and her husband, and it was a good thing to be four grownups while caring for 15 children! Anyway, it was a fun party and all the kids seemed to enjoy it. Linus got a bunch of nice gifts as well, and he was very happy with the weekend.
