Time for another cruise, Stockholm to Mariehamn (Åland). In the whisky-bar on the boat they had a small barrel with the Swedish whisky Mackmyra. Of course we had to try it, and I really liked the taste.

We visited Daniels mother in the evening, and brought dinner to cook there. It was a new recipe we have found; pork&prawns. Rather Chinese style, and very tasty. Pork and prawns may sound like a strange combo, but we'll definitely cook this again.

Zelda is hiding in the laundry-basket as it is very warm there next to the radiator in the bathroom. But she is now allowed to be there, and Daniel is splashing water at her so that she should know that, and get away. She is not happy, and can't wait for us to fall asleep so she can crawl back down.

I was looking for a way to make smaller cupcakes, the ordinary ones tend to get a little too big. After searching the Internet I found a supplier of mini-cupcake forms, and decided to put in an order. Today it arrived, and I tried it out right away.

These are a red velvet recipe, but I had no red color, so they turned out a little pale. I don't think my work mates will mind the color when they are served these little cuties at afternoon coffee tomorrow, though.. =)

I spent a great deal of the evening exploring a new (Swedish) web-site I've found about photographing in raw-format. It was very educational, and even though I have used raw for quite some time now, I picked up a lot of new tips and tricks.

Saturday with Daniels mother, Linus grandmother, in Åtvidaberg. We had a nice walk with the dogs, dinner and then we watched the Swedish "Melodifestivalen", where the Swedish song for the European Song Contest will be chosen.



As an entree at dinner we got crayfish. Normally we only eat them in the fall, and newly cooked. These had been frozen, and were a wonderful reminder of warmer seasons.

Picture from the walk I took with Ebba tonight. Daniel and Linus stayed indoors to prepare dinner. It was a little cold outside, and some snowflakes fell down on us, but it was a nice walk.

It was two years since Daniel and I got engaged, on the beach in Mexico. February 14th was a very strategic date, as it is very easy to remember. =) Tonight we celebrated with champagne, lobster soup and scallops.



I had baked cupcakes for dessert, and after I had decorated them with frosting, Ebba helped me to clean up the tools.

Another bright sunny picture. The weather was as lovely today as it was yesterday, and the walk even longer. Now both Daniel and myself, as well as Ebba, are a little exhausted. It will be a quiet evening.

This morning we woke up to a very bright sunny day, and it was so lovely to take Ebba for a long walk. It was a little cold, but the sun really warmed us. And with all the new white snow everything looks just beautiful.

Thanks for your sweet comments about me stressing over the workload. Last day of the week was busy too, but now it looks as next week will be back to normal again.

We made Thai-style fishcakes for dinner. The little bowl holds a sauce made of water, sugar and distilled vinegar. It may sound strange, but it is very good to dip the fishcakes in.

Almost all snow has melted away, until today when it started snowing again. The whole day huge amounts of snow fell down, and it continued into the night.

We were to meet with some friends at a pub downtown, so we walked there while dropping off Ebba at the dog-sitter. It is kind of exciting to be out in the falling snow, all noises are silenced and it feels so quiet.

The pressure at work is still high, and I had to work from home again. I needed something to cheer me up a little when I was done, and were happy to find a frozen chocolate cake in the freezer. With a little colored frosting it became a cute cupcake. Mmm, yummy!

It was quite nice weather today, and we took a long walk with Ebba after work. It is amazing how it is still daylight at 4:30PM now. It wasn't long ago that it was almost dark when we left work at 4PM.

It doesn't matter if there are still snow and cold, the returning light is the best sign of spring on its way, and catkin confirms it. Lovely!

The work-week started busy right away, and I had to continue work a little more after I got home and we had walked Ebba. Here is my work-laptop next to my regular computer at home. Business e-mail on one and Facebook on the other. You got to keep connected. =)

Linus attended a birthday party for one of his friends at daycare, and they really had a good time. We left him there and picked him up two hours later, together with a fun crown, a balloon and of course a bag with some candy.

Linus and daddy with the puzzle Linus got for Christmas. It was a little hard, but he is very good with puzzles and with just a little help from Daniel the puzzle was asembled.

After three years in the apartment we have finally got a bathtub! We ordered it a couple of weeks ago, and yesterday it was delivered. Today Daniel and a friend moved it into the bathroom and attached it to the water supply. Wonderful, I have longed for this since we moved in! =D

We have found some kind of cat-treats that Zelda loves, and she can really make a lot of tricks to get hold of them. Ebba loves anything that can be eaten, so both are very interested when Daniel serves the cat-candy.
