Last day before heading home again, and a visit to a lion park before work. This giraffe was very happy to have a snack.
And she also loved to cuddle.
A 5 1/2 month old lion cub, enjoying to be petted. The other one is a white lion cub.
Lucky they are kind, the paws are huge!
These were to be seen from a safe distance.

Work on Thursday included a site visit to Pretoria, and there were also a little time for daylight sightseeing. This is the Union Buildings.
There were a wonderful garden surrounding the place.
Two work colleagues, Miklos and Tamas, and Daniel, having a braai (barbecue) at the apartments where they stayed.

We stayed at the Radisson Blu, and it has quite an impressive exterior!
View from outside the Main station.
We went early to the airport to be able to participate in their guided airport tour. It was fascinating to ride the bus so close to the large aircrafts, but unfortunately we could only see the main attraction, the Airbus 380, from a distance.
We were very happily surprised when we later rode the bus to our flight and met with this giant of the skies. Linus was thrilled to have seen the "worlds largest airplane" up close!
It was a fun weekend (if we don't count in the loss of the camera), and during the last flight from Copenhagen to Stockholm Linus was fast asleep. Daniel had to carry him off the plane as he didn't woke up even when we landed.
These photos are taken with the Canon Ixus 130 that I carried in my pocket for snapshots.

I'm sorry for being a lousy commenter right now. I came down with some kind of flu after our trip, and everything takes forever to accomplish.
So, here are some of the photos that were left after the trip. We began Friday with a visit to the Senckenberg Naturmuseum. It was very interesting, and they had a cool exhibition with dinosaur skeletons. Very impressive.
We continued with lunch at the restaurant Die Kuh die lacht, and had delicious hamburgers.
Daniel and Linus outside the underground station, and in front of the Hauptwache.
At the underground, waiting for the train to the Zoo. I think these photos are the ones I am most sorry for have lost. The Zoo was very beautiful, and it was so exciting to visit a Zoo when it is not summer-time. Lots of the animals were inside, and you got great close-up views from them.
The most impressive was the Giraffes; I've never stood so close to them on the ground, looking up at the heads. Also the house of the night-active animals was fascinating. Hope we can go here again!
Then we continued to the Main Tower for a view of the city. The weather was a little grey, but a lot warmer than we have at home, so it was rather pleasant walking around.
Daniel and Linus, just a block away from Main Tower.
At night we checked in at the Radisson Blu. After all the fuss with reporting the loss of the camera, we decided to not let this ruin the trip completely, so we had a nice dinner at the hotel restaurant.

Here we are, on the plane between Arlanda, Stockholm, and Kastrup, Copenhagen. This is Linus' first flight ever, and he was really exited.
And here we are at Kastrup, in front of the airplane that about two hours late took us to Frankfurt.
Angelica, it would have been fun to meet, but this was a rather short trip, mostly for Linus to fly. We booked on bonus points, arrived in Frankfurt late Thursday, had Friday in town, and then went home on Saturday.
Although, it was a rather eventful trip, and very sadly we lost our DSLR camera and with that the memory cards. The only photos we have left are the few taken with the P&S camera. As we really liked Frankfurt we might go back to capture those photos again, and that time I'll let you know! =)
