For New Years eve we are going in to San Francisco. We started off the morning with a coffee at Starbucks, sitting outside in the sunshine. It is about 18C (64F) and we really enjoy to be here and not in Sweden where it is about -10C (14F).
Our trip goes by train. First we took the commuter train to Mountain View, and there we changed to Caltrain, which will take us to downtown SF.
Our hotel is situated pretty close to Union Square, and after unpacking we went out to see the city. We began with a Cable Car ride. It is absolutely fantastic, the hills are unbelievable steep in some places and the brakes on the Cable car has to work hard.
The ride went down to Fisherman's Wharf. We strolled around for a while, looking at stuff and people, before we got hungry.
Dinner was served at Joe's Crab Shack. Daniel was very happy as he got the opportunity to eat king crab, one of his favorite food.
