Day 335

The snow tires are finally on the car. Daniel and I changed ourselves in our garage after work. In Sweden you need to have snow tires on from December 1st until March 1st, if there is a need for it. Hence, the 5 degree (41F) weather we have had the last weeks hadn't made us rush to change tires. But tonight it got freezing, and we realized that it had to be done. So now we can drive safely even if we get snow and ice!

  1. Wow, it's a requirement to have snow tires? I know how to change tires but I've only done it once, and only on one broken tire, LOL. Good for you for doing it yourselves.

Oh, I forgot to answer you about the weather in San Francisco. In December it should be 45-60 degrees. It definitely will be above freezing. It does not free in San Francisco. It does not snow either. Hope that helps you with your trip! I can't wait to see photos!

  3. snow tires?!! i heard of this but since we don't have a car here..and it doesn't snow that much in paris...i never really encountered them. (we do rent cars sometimes). well... maybe when we get to move to a country where there is more snow i would understand those tires better.
